Dr. Ravindra Vikram Singh

Dr. Ravindra Vikram Singh, PhD., FRSC, FICS, MACS, serves as the Director and Head of R&D, Technology and Innovation at Merck Group in India since July 2017, bringing nearly 23 years of extensive industrial research experience in the Life Science and Pharmaceutical sectors. With a background in Chemical Research and Development, Industrial Chemistry, Synthetic Organic and Medicinal Chemistry, Dr. Singh has led technology innovation and new chemical entity (NCE) development across various disciplines, including pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals. Previous roles include Deputy General Manager at Sigma-Aldrich, where leadership in custom synthesis and manufacturing for global clients was demonstrated, and Group Leader at Jubilant Life Sciences, contributing to significant medicinal chemistry projects. Dr. Singh's academic credentials include a Master of Science and a Doctor of Philosophy in Organic Chemistry from the University of Lucknow.
