Laura Barberis

Laura Barberis possesses extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, currently serving as Head of PMO and Capacity for Global Analytical Development at Merck Group since January 2016. In this role, Barberis oversees project management and operational excellence for Merck's analytical sites. Previous positions at Merck include Chief of Staff for Global Development and Launch and roles in site operational excellence at the Ivrea and Guidonia sites. Prior to Merck, Barberis held various project management and scientific positions at Merck Serono and contributed to biotechnology education and research at the Fondazione per le Biotecnologie and the University of Torino. Educational qualifications include a degree in Biotechnology from Università degli Studi di Torino and a PhD pursued at the same institution.
