Abhijit Biswas

Abhijit Biswas is an accomplished leader in operations with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Director of Operations at Merck since January 2020, Abhijit previously held the position of Asia Pacific Leader in Global Technical Operation at MSD from June 2009 to January 2020. Prior to that, Abhijit led Global Technical Operations as a Manager at Schering Pharmaceuticals from October 2001 to May 2009 and started a career in production at Glaxo Wellcome (India) Ltd as a Production Executive. Abhijit holds an MBA in Operations and Finance from S P Jain Institute of Management, completed in 2009, and obtained an engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in 2003.
