Elisa Martinez

Elisa Martinez is a Director of Epidemiology Operations Lead at Merck, managing a team of 12 study managers to operationalize Epidemiology studies across Oncology, Vaccines, and General Medicine portfolios. With a strong background in project management, Elisa has also served as a Project Realization Officer for the Women's Network and held various roles in Medical Affairs, focusing on strategic initiatives, cross-functional collaboration, and optimizing processes for clinical studies. Prior to Merck, Elisa coordinated clinical research at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and managed tobacco cessation protocols at Fox Chase Cancer Center. Elisa holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Community Health from Tufts University.
