Haoyuan Wang

Haoyuan Wang is a Senior Scientist at Merck, part of the Chemical Biology group in Discovery Chemistry since February 2023. Previously, Haoyuan worked at AbbVie as a Senior Scientist on the Chemical Biology and Emerging Therapeutics team, focusing on designing and synthesizing molecular probes from March 2022 to January 2023. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco, in Prof. Jack Taunton's lab from July 2017 to February 2022, and roles at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where Haoyuan served as a Project Assistant for the NMR Spectroscopy Facility and as a Teaching Assistant in various courses from September 2012 to June 2017. Haoyuan holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BS in Chemistry from Wuhan University.
