Austin Finnegan

Austin Finnegan has a strong background in finance and risk management. Austin started their career at the Bank of England in 2008 as a Research Analyst in the Sterling Markets Division. In 2010, they joined Goldman Sachs as an Analyst/Associate in the Corporate Treasury department, eventually becoming an Executive Director in Global Liquidity Products Trading. In 2018, they transitioned to Mercuria Energy Trading S.A. where they currently hold the position of Head of FX and Treasury Risk Management.

Austin Finnegan obtained a BSc Hons degree in Economics from the University of Bath from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, they received certifications in Bloomberg Market Concepts from Bloomberg LP in August 2019 and in "From Poverty to Prosperity: Understanding Economic Development" from edX (University of Oxford) in April 2017.
