Samuel Frye

Samuel Frye has a comprehensive work experience in the energy trading industry. Samuel worked at Mercuria Energy America starting in 2016, where they held various roles including Trader and Power Analyst. Prior to that, they worked at EDF Trading from 2011 to 2016, where they had roles such as ERCOT Real Time Trader, West Real Time Trader, and Gas Settlements Analyst. Frye demonstrated expertise in managing power markets, trading electricity, and performing settlements with bilateral counterparties.

Samuel Frye obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Texas A&M University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. In January 2020, they also obtained a certification in Understanding and Visualizing Data with Python from the University of Michigan.
