Shane G.

Shane G. has a diverse work experience in the energy trading and analysis industry. Shane started their career as an Analyst at Ironbridge Capital in 2011. Shane then worked as a Gas Analyst and Power Analyst at RWE Supply & Trading GmbH from 2012 to 2013. Shane joined BTG Pactual in 2013 as the Head Gas Analyst and stayed with the company until 2016. Currently, Shane is employed at Mercuria Energy Trading S.A. as a Gas Analyst and Data Scientist since January 2017. Shane later took on the role of a Gas Trader in July 2018.

Shane G. pursued higher education at the University of Oxford from 2008 to 2012, where they completed their MPhys degree in Physics. In August 2016, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Stanford University through Coursera.
