Simon Lock

Simon Lock has extensive work experience in the technology field. Simon started their career as a Graduate in Technology at Barclays Capital in February 2011 and worked there until March 2012. Simon then joined Man Group as a Trading Systems Developer in June 2013 and remained in that role until November 2016. Simon's most recent position was at Mercuria Energy Trading S.A., where they held multiple roles. Simon started as a Senior Trading Systems Developer in November 2016 and later became the Head of Operations Technology & Minerva Bunkering Technology in July 2021. Their employment at Mercuria is ongoing.

Simon Lock completed their Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Physics from the University of Kent from 2005 to 2009. Later, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Physics at UCL from 2009 to 2010.
