Rory Verret

DEI Advisor at Mercury Fund

Rory Verret is currently the DEI Advisor at Mercury Fund. Prior to this, they were a partner at Protégé Search and The Raben Group, where they co-headed the Diversity Practice. Verret has also worked for the National Football League (NFL) as their Vice President of Talent Management and Vice President of Public Affairs.

In their role at the NFL, Verret was responsible for managing succession planning, leadership development, and executive search functions. Rory also successfully led several searches at EVP, SVP and VP levels which significantly increased gender and racial diversity within senior management teams. In addition, Verret established the NFL's Talent Mobility Program which moved high performing executives into new positions across the league office.

Verret has been recognized for their accomplishments in diversity and inclusion initiatives and talent management. Rory was selected by the NFL commissioner for the Talent Mobility Program for highest performing VP+ executives and assumed leadership for the newly created public affairs function. Under their leadership, Verret developed strategic relationships with leading advocacy organizations and managed issue campaigns for the NFL.

Rory Verret has a JD from Harvard Law School and a BA in English from Howard University. Rory also attended St. Augustine High School.
