Adam Todd has a strong background in cybersecurity, beginning in 2005 as an Information Security Consultant at Crowe. Adam then worked for the National Security Agency for nine years as a Global Network Exploitation & Vulnerability Analyst, where they led a team and developed software tools for computer network exploitation. Following their time at the NSA, Todd joined the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a Computer Scientist. In 2018, they started working at TrustedSec as a Senior Research Analyst, where they conducted research, developed security tools, and published blog posts. Currently, Todd is a Principal Software Engineer at Mercury Systems.
Adam Todd attended Michigan State University from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science. Adam then pursued their Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance at the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology from 2005 to 2007. In 2010, they engaged in post-graduate work in Computer Science at Johns Hopkins Engineering for Professionals. Alongside their formal education, Adam has also obtained several certifications in areas such as network forensics, penetration testing, intrusion analysis, malware reverse engineering, forensic analysis, incident handling, and systems security management.
