Philemon Spencer

Philemon Spencer has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Philemon started their career as an intern in General Surgery at Baptist Health System in 2006. Following this, they completed a residency in Family Medicine at the University of South Alabama from 2007 to 2010. Philemon then worked as a physician specializing in primary care outpatient medicine at Community Hospital from 2010 to 2014. During this time, they also worked as an Urgent Care Physician at American Family Care from 2013 to 2015. From 2014 to 2017, Philemon served as an ER staff physician at Community Hospital, Tallassee. Philemon later joined TeamHealth as an ER staff physician, working at Baptist Medical Center East and Prattville Baptist Hospital from 2014 to 2017. From 2017 to 2019, they continued their role as an ER staff physician at TeamHealth. Currently, Philemon is working as the Medical Director at Mercy Care since 2022.
