Nicole Banta

Nicole Banta is a seasoned communications and marketing professional with extensive experience in strategic communications, content creation, and partnership development. Currently serving as a Senior Communications Officer for Global Corporate and Foundation Partnerships at Mercy Corps since July 2023, Nicole has previously held roles including Communications & Marketing Director at Whole School Leadership, Inc., and Marketing & Development Consultant through Nicole Banta Consulting. Additional experience includes positions as Advancement Director and Communications and Development Specialist at Childpeace Montessori School, Academic Success Coach at InsideTrack, and Communications Manager at the Institute for Youth Success. Nicole holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Portland State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Communication Studies from the University of Oregon.
