Sandiego Adyaka

Sandiego Adyaka is an experienced professional in program management and community development. Currently serving as a Senior Program Officer for the Climate Change Leaders Advancing for Peace (CCLAP) program at Mercy Corps since April 2019, Sandiego has previously held roles including Partnerships and Capacity Building Officer for the USAID-APOLOU program and Program Assistant focused on grants and compliance. Since March 2023, Sandiego has also been a Program Officer for the Securing Peace and Promoting Prosperity in Karamoja (EKISIL) program at Mercy Corps-Uganda, providing support to community structures and trauma healing facilitators. Previous experience includes positions as Project Assistant at the American Refugee Committee and Uganda Refugee and Disaster Management Council, as well as a Data Clerk role at Andre Foods International. Sandiego holds a Bachelor's degree in Development Studies from Kyambogo University.
