Cristina Mendonça is an experienced sustainability and change consultant currently serving as the Managing Director for Mercy For Animals in Brazil, where strategic leadership is provided to foster a just and sustainable food system. As the Founder of Techni Inclusive Sustainability, Cristina promotes transformative change processes for various sectors. Previous roles include Director of the Climate and Sustainability Program for the Healthy Hospitals Project, Senior Manager at C40 Cities where theories of change for sustainable lifestyle practices were developed, and City Director positions for both C40 Cities and the Clinton Climate Initiative in Rio de Janeiro. Cristina holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master of Science in Urban and Environmental Engineering from Technische Universität Braunschweig and an Executive MBA from COPPEAD UFRJ.
