Michael Dodson

Michael Dodson's work experience includes roles at various organizations. Michael started as a Medical Officer at CASA in 2011. Michael then worked at the Therapeutic Goods Administration as a Medical Advisor in Complementary and Non-Prescription Medicines from 2008 to 2009. Michael held the position of Head of the Office of Non-Prescription Medicines and later became a Senior Medical Advisor at the same organization from 2010 to 2012. Dodson served as the Associate Dean of Melbourne Clinical School at The University of Notre Dame Australia from 2012 to 2014. Michael then joined Blackmores as a Medical Director from 2014 to 2016. Dodson's next role was at the University of Melbourne, where they worked as an Academic Lead, Medical Student Selection from 2019 to the present. Currently, Dodson holds the position of Director of Medical Education and Support at Mercy Health Australia, starting in January 2022.

Michael Dodson pursued their education in various institutions. From 1992 to 1999, they attended the University of Melbourne, where they obtained degrees in MBBS, BSc, and BMedSc, focusing on medicine. Michael later pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Medicine/Medical Education at Deakin University from 1998 to 2013. Additionally, from 2008 to 2011, they attended UNSW and earned degrees in MPH and MHM, specializing in Public Health and Health Management.
