Kathryn E. Young

Kathryn E. Young has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Kathryn E. started their career in 1984 with Waste Management, Inc., where they held various roles in finance and operations, eventually rising to the position of Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. Kathryn E. then joined Bush Brothers & Company as the Director of Business Planning & Analysis, Chief Internal Auditor, and Interim CFO. Kathryn went on to work at Sirius Solutions L.L.L.P. as the Vice President of Operations, leading the finance and administration team. Kathryn E. also served as the President of Key Strategic Solutions, LLC, where they advised companies and developed growth strategies. Kathryn has also been involved in the Jones Graduate School Alumni Association at Rice University as the Board President. Most recently, they have been working at the Merichem Company as the Senior Vice President and General Manager.

Kathryn E. Young pursued their education in a chronological manner. Kathryn E. began their academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from Ohio University, where they studied from 1980 to 1984. Following this, they went on to acquire a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business, attending from 2002 to 2004. In 2010, Kathryn further enhanced their expertise by completing a Management in Energy Certificate program at Rice University Executive Education. Additionally, they hold the certification of Certified Public Accountant (inactive), obtained from the Ohio Board of Accountancy in 1991.
