Andrew Gaspar

Andrew Gaspar is a seasoned professional in technical operations and development within the biopharmaceutical sector, currently serving as the Manager of Technical Operations and Development at Meridian Bioscience Inc. since May 2014. In this role, Andrew drives bioprocessing and development strategies, optimizing existing products and overseeing the manufacturing of custom products. Prior experience includes a position as a Process Development Scientist at Meridian, where Andrew focused on immunological product development. Andrew's earlier work includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health, investigating infection mechanisms of Legionella pneumophila, and significant research roles at various academic institutions, including the University of Connecticut Health Center, University of Chicago, and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, which provided a strong foundation in molecular biology, biochemistry, and genetic analysis.
