Antoine Merval

Antoine Merval has extensive work experience in the field of data science and engineering. Antoine started their career as an Engineer at SOGETI High Tech GmbH, where they focused on mechanical design, structural optimization, and software platforms for process automation. Antoine then joined Ecole Centrale Paris as a Post Doctorate Fellow, where they studied and built numerical approximation models of Finite Elements CFD solutions.

Afterwards, Antoine moved on to Tenzing Limited as a Senior Manager - Data Scientist, where they played a key role in consulting on data science, predictive analytics, optimisation, and data visualization. Antoine led the development of the Data Science service line at Tenzing, overseeing a team of 14 people and working with clients in both the government and private sectors.

Antoine's next position was at Xero, where they served as the Data Science Lead for the Data Innovation team. Antoine joined the team at its inception and worked on developing innovative data products and machine learning models. During their three-year tenure, the team grew to 11 people, reflecting the increasing demand for their work.

Currently, Antoine is working at Meridian Energy as a Lead Data Scientist. Further details about their roles and responsibilities at this company have not been provided.

Antoine Merval holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Applied Mathematics (Optimization & numerical modeling) from ISAE-SUPAERO, which they obtained from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Aeronautics/Aerospace at ISAE-SUPAERO from 1999 to 2002.
