Ella Gilroy

Ella Gilroy's work experience includes a role as a Graduate Mechanical Engineer at Meridian Energy starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Student Intern at both New Zealand's Aluminium Smelter (NZAS) and Heaslip Engineering. At NZAS, they were responsible for inspecting aluminium billets for defects and managing them through the homogenisation process. At Heaslip Engineering, they developed components and CAD models for an amusement device, conducted research and weather data analysis, and followed amusement device standards.

From 2018 to 2021, Ella Gilroy attended the University of Canterbury, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
