Gemma Cunliffe

Gemma Cunliffe has a diverse work experience in the field of recruitment and talent acquisition. Gemma started their career as a Candidate Consultant at Poolia in 2010 and later worked as a Recruitment Administrator at Lloyds Banking Group. In 2012, they worked as a Reference Administrator on a contract basis at Resource Solutions before joining Ryan Recruitment as a Recruitment Administrator. Gemma then became a Recruitment Consultant at Ryan Recruitment, where they handled various recruitment and HR tasks.

In 2014, Gemma joined Macleay College as a Recruitment Coordinator and was responsible for high-volume recruitment, providing career advice, and arranging school visits and career fairs. Gemma later worked at the University of Sydney as a Recruitment Consultant.

In 2016, they joined Raw Talent Group as a Program Manager, overseeing graduate employability development initiatives, managing program logistics, and assisting students with queries and career coaching. Gemma also worked on business development projects and handled university learning management systems.

From 2017 to 2019, Gemma worked at Monadelphous as a Recruitment Specialist, where they were involved in talent acquisition for different sectors within the company.

Gemma'smost recent position is with Meridian Energy, where they started in 2019 as a Senior Talent Business Partner and later became the Recruitment Lead. In this role, they managed the recruitment function, implemented and configured the ATS software, and worked on talent attraction and diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Gemma Cunliffe completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Canterbury between 2005 and 2008. In addition to their academic education, they obtained certification as a SmartRecruiters Expert Administrator from SmartRecruiters in March 2023.
