Holindu Abhayagunawardena

Holindu Abhayagunawardena has a strong background in the energy industry, starting with their role as an Asset Compliance Analyst at Transpower from March 2013 to February 2015. Holindu then transitioned to become a System Operator Engineer at the same company from February 2015 to July 2016. Abhayagunawardena then joined Meridian Energy, where they first served as a Transmission Advisor from July 2016 to July 2018. Holindu then advanced to become a Transmission Specialist from August 2018 to November 2021. Currently, Abhayagunawardena holds the position of Strategic Development Manager at Meridian Energy, a role they have held since November 2021.

From 2009 to 2012, Holindu Abhayagunawardena attended the University of Canterbury, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
