Lei Zhang

Lei Zhang has a diverse and extensive work experience in data analysis and management. Starting in 2009, Lei worked as a Data Analyst at Dubon Property & Casualty Insurance Co. Ltd., where they were responsible for regular reports and system demand management. In 2011, Lei joined CreditEase as a Data Analyst, progressing to Senior Data Analyst, and worked on both offline and online business data, providing regular reports and being involved in data integration. In 2014, Lei became a Data Analyst at Xinyongbao Financial Information Services, focusing on achieving business goals and drawing up sales plans. At Weshare Financial Information Service Co. Ltd., Lei took on the role of Data Analyst Manager, overseeing a team of eight and implementing a data platform for all stakeholders. Lei then worked at Wuhan Shark Network Technology Co., Ltd. Beijing as a Business Analyst /Data Product Manager, responsible for data management, the BI platform, and providing insights to improve customer experience. Most recently, Lei joined Powershop NZ Ltd as a Commercial Analyst, supporting the risk management team, operation, and marketing team. Lei's current role is as a Data Insights Analyst at Meridian Energy.

Lei Zhang earned a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Beijing University of Technology, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Lei has obtained certifications from Microsoft. They are a Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate, obtained in February 2023, and a Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals, obtained in January 2023.
