Phil Green

Phil Green has extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. Phil currently holds the position of Commercial Support Manager at Meridian Energy, where they started in 2022. Previously, they worked as a Finance Business Partner at Synlait Milk Limited from 2019 to 2021. From 2013 to 2018, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Comrad Medical Systems. Phil also worked at Genea as a Finance Manager from 2004 to 2013, where they provided financial and commercial leadership to GMs and senior managers. Phil was involved in various projects, including leading a support team restructuring and assisting the implementation of a BI tool. Before that, they served as a Finance Manager at Steljes from 2001 to 2003, gaining their first commercial experience after starting their career in a chartered firm. Phil's career began as an Accountant at Weston Woodley & Robertson (Chartered Accountants) in 1994, where they worked full-time while studying part-time.

Phil Green briefly attended Harvard Business School in 2008, where they focused on achieving breakthrough service. Prior to that, from 1999 to 2001, they pursued a course at Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Phil completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from the University of Technology Sydney between 1994 and 1997.
