Sagal Ahmed

Sagal Ahmed is a dedicated professional with experience in educational and research roles. Currently serving as a Project Associate at Meridian Institute since July 2022, Sagal also holds the position of Research Assistant at Collaborating for Resilience (CoRe) since June 2020, where contributions include developing research products in environmental governance and preparing peer-reviewed publications. Sagal's prior experience includes four years as an Educator at Haven Housing, crafting curricula for students and integrating arts into core subjects, and serving as an Academic Mentor with Community Youth Mentor, providing guidance to six families. Additionally, Sagal worked as a Policy Researcher for the Minnesota House of Representatives, researching policy implementation and organizing town hall forums. Sagal holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Statistics from Carleton College, completed in 2022.
