He spent his first 22 years living, learning and growing in Vermont. After completing his undergraduate coursework, he took time to travel the country, visiting nearly every one of the lower 48 states. In 2009 he was introduced to the idea of helping others through his enrollment in Americorps. He spent a year living on the Mississippi Gulf coast, helping to clean up and rebuild after Hurricane Katrina, which jump started his interest in workforce development and led to 9 more years of work in this field. He loves to make connections with people from all walks of life. He enjoys encouraging and supporting people to work towards their goals. Working for Merit is a great opportunity for him to utilize his skills to influence the lives of others.
