Todd Humphrey

Todd Humphrey was born in Atlanta, Georgia where he started playing cello at eleven years old. To continue his involvement in music, Todd completed his Bachelor's in Music Performance at Florida State University where he served as principal cellist for multiple ensembles. Following his time at FSU, Todd earned his Master's in Music Performance from Miami University of Ohio where he served as a graduate assistant. One of his main duties at Miami University was as Orchestra Librarian where he cataloged and maintained the Miami University Symphony Orchestra library. Currently, Todd is an active member of the Chicago music scene. Most recently, his string quartet won the DePaul Chamber Music Competition and was invited to perform at the Driehaus Museum.
