Aygul Zengin is a PhD researcher at the MERLN Institute for Technology-Inspired Regenerative Medicine, specializing in nanocomposite hydrogel research, specifically with mesoporous silica nanoparticles, resulting in five first-author peer-reviewed publications. Previous experience includes conducting research at Sabanci University on the self-assembly of polymer structures and serving as a teaching assistant, as well as research at UNAM Institute of Materials Science and Nanotechnology, focusing on peptide amphiphile molecules for drug delivery and peptide nanofiber scaffolds for neuronal cell modulation. Aygul Zengin holds a PhD candidate position in Regenerative Medicine from Maastricht University, a Master of Science in Material Science and Nanotechnology from Bilkent University, and has completed an Erasmus program in Chemical and Process Engineering at Technische Universität Wien, alongside a Bachelor of Engineering in Bioengineering from Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi.
