Levi Belnap

Levi Belnap has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Chief Strategy Officer at Merlyn Mind, which they began in May 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Mentor at Defy Ventures, a program that helps individuals with criminal histories through entrepreneurship and career training. Levi held this role from October 2016 to August 2021.

Levi served as the VP of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships at Wyzant from October 2017 to April 2019. Before that, they were the Director of Business Development at the same company from August 2014 to September 2017.

In 2011, Levi co-founded and served as the CEO of FindIt, a search application for mobile devices that allowed professionals to find and share information across various cloud applications. Levi successfully raised $700K in venture capital seed financing and amassed 4+ star reviews on both the Google Play Store and the iOS App Store. Levi indexed over 750 million emails and files from users during their tenure, which lasted from October 2011 to July 2014.

Levi was also a part of Techstars, a global accelerator program, where they co-founded and served as the CEO of FindIt during the Techstars Chicago 2013 summer class.

Levi has held various positions in renewable energy organizations, such as the Rocky Mountain Solar Training Provider and the Utah Solar Energy Association, where they served as the Executive Director. During their time at the Utah Solar Energy Association, Levi tripled business membership, significantly increased the association's budget, and created stable revenue streams.

Levi has also been involved in non-profit organizations, including the American Solar Energy Society, where they were a National Board Committee Chapter Member, and the Social Innovation Summit, where they served as a Co-Director.

Levi Belnap completed their MBA from Harvard Business School in the years 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they pursued a BA degree in Political Science, Arabic, and Business Management from Brigham Young University from 2002 to 2009. In 2006, they also had a study abroad experience at the University of Jordan, focusing on Arabic. Additionally, Levi obtained a certification from the ASU GSV Summit in April 2016, specifically in Education Technology.
