Dr. Rachel Gamble, with a Doctorate in Public Health-Environmental and Occupational from UTHealth Houston, has extensive experience in biological safety and biorisk management. Rachel currently holds the position of Associate Director Biosafety & Biosecurity at Merrick & Company and previously worked as the Director of Env Health & Safety at Baylor College of Medicine. With a background in Food Science/Microbiology and Biology, Rachel has also worked in various roles at UTHealth, Houston Community College, and Oklahoma State University. Their expertise includes laboratory surveillance, risk assessments, emergency response, and training in biosafety.
