Art Mills

Art Mills has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and architecture. Their most recent position was as a Senior Staff Engineer at Datasite, where they were responsible for designing and developing solutions to improve performance and provide a roadmap for future advancements. Prior to that, Art worked at IBM as a Cloud Architect, where they implemented IBM Hybrid Cloud software products and helped modernize customer environments. Art also worked at Evolving Solutions as an Enterprise Cloud Architect, where they built a modern operations/hybrid cloud business practice and provided cloud vision and education to internal resources. Art has also held positions at Pivotal, Merrill Corporation (now Datasite), Allianz Managed Operations & Services of America, Target, Hamco Internet Solutions, Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc., and United Health Group, where they gained experience in various aspects of technology, infrastructure, and architectural leadership. Overall, Art has a strong background in designing and implementing innovative solutions for diverse organizations.

Art Mills attended Virginia Commonwealth University from 1988 to 1993, where they pursued a degree in Mass Communications with a focus on journalism. However, they did not complete their degree during this time.

In terms of certifications, Art Mills has obtained several credentials throughout their career. In 2014, they completed the "Rails for Zombies Redux" course at Code School. Furthermore, they obtained the "Essential Cloud Infrastructure: Foundation," "Getting Started with Google Kubernetes Engine," and "Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure" certifications from Coursera in November 2018.

In recent years, Art Mills has also acquired several certifications related to IT and web development. Art gained the "AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate" certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the "AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate" certification from Udemy in June 2021. Moreover, they completed the "Red Hat Sales Engineer Specialist - Container Platform" certification from Red Hat and the "IBM Business Framing Practitioner" certification from IBM in September 2021.

Lastly, in April 2023, Art Mills obtained the "The Complete Web Development Bootcamp with Go and Gin" certification from Udemy.
