Jordan Ross

Jordan Ross has a diverse work experience in the tech industry. Jordan started their career as a Software Engineer Intern at General Dynamics Mission Systems in 2015, where they worked on automating the downloading, building, and deploying of various big data frameworks. This internship provided him with hands-on experience in Python and SQL.

In 2016, Jordan joined General Dynamics Mission Systems as a Software Engineer on the High Performance Data Analytics (HPDA) team. Here, they focused on improving the performance of high-performance data platform frameworks like Hadoop, Accumulo, and Spark in an internet-disconnect environment.

In 2018, Jordan transitioned to Datasite as a Sr. Software Engineer. Here, they worked as the Technical Manager and Lead of DevOps, collaborating with a team to deliver over 130 microservices to the production environment. Jordan emphasized driving operational excellence and making life easier for engineers to ensure product success.

Finally, in 2021, Jordan was promoted to the role of Software Engineering Manager at Datasite, where they continue to lead and manage the software engineering team.

Jordan Ross received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota Duluth, completing their education from 2011 to 2015.
