Luke Tucker has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Luke started their career in 2006 as a Nuffield Bursary Placement at the University of Manchester, where they participated in an international collaboration survey studying nebulae. In 2008, Luke worked as an Event Stewart at Manchester Arena, where they were responsible for meeting and greeting the public, monitoring crowds, and ensuring a safe environment. Luke also worked as a Conference and Banqueting Executive at Radisson, where they assisted with the arrangements for the 2008 Labour Party Annual Conference.
In 2010, Luke joined Manchester Enterprise Academy as a Voluntary Maths Tutor, where they taught maths to struggling GCSE students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Luke employed various teaching strategies and negotiation skills to motivate and support the students.
Luke then transitioned to Synectics Solutions in 2012, where they worked as a Relationship Manager. In this role, they established and maintained client relationships with blue chip companies, specializing in the Insurance and Finance sectors. Luke presented customer insights and analyses, effectively communicating complex technical issues.
In 2014, Luke joined Datasite as a Project Manager. Luke independently managed multiple complex projects for investment banks, law firms, and multi-nationals, building positive client relationships and delivering comprehensive training. In 2018, Luke was promoted to the role of Senior Product Support Specialist, where they utilized their technical knowledge and understanding of client requirements to advance the product offering, maximize profitability, and support the project management team as an escalation point for complex projects.
Most recently, starting in April 2020, Luke has held the role of Sales Engineer at Datasite, where they utilize their expertise to drive sales and provide technical support to clients.
Luke Tucker's education history begins in 2000 when they attended The Grange School, Hartford. During this time, they studied A levels, AS levels, and GCSEs.
In 2007, Luke enrolled at The University of Manchester, where they pursued a BSc in Physics with Business and Management. Luke completed this degree in 2009.
Following that, Luke continued their studies at The University of Manchester and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Management with Accounting and Finance in 2012.
In addition to their academic pursuits, Luke obtained various certifications. In 2006, they obtained a Full UK clean Driving Licence. During the same year, they also obtained the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification from RLSS UK. In 2005, Luke achieved RYA level 3 in sailing from the Royal Yachting Association, and in 2003, they obtained RYA level 3 in Windsurfing, also from the Royal Yachting Association.
