Yer Thao

Yer Thao has a diverse work experience in various roles. They started their career as a College Access Program Mentor at Minnesota State University, Mankato, where they mentored high school graduates and helped prepare them for university. They also worked as an English Tutor at the university, assisting K-12 students in improving their English composition skills.

Yer Thao then transitioned into the healthcare industry, working as a Clinical Review Technician at Prime Therapeutics, LLC. In this role, they reviewed prior authorizations for prescription medications to ensure prompt approval for patients in the Blue Cross Blue Shield health system.

After gaining experience in healthcare, Yer Thao joined Giving Hands Home Care Services as a Personal Care Assistant. During their time there, they provided care to individuals in need.

Yer Thao then entered the software engineering field, starting as a Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where they gained valuable experience. Currently, they are working at Datasite as a Software Engineer II in Automation. In this role, Yer Thao is responsible for writing automation scripts, participating in daily deployments, and monitoring the CI/CD deployment processes using tools such as Cucumber, Capybara, Selenium WebDriver, and Ruby.

Yer Thao completed a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Minnesota State University, Mankato from 2011 to 2015. In 2020 to 2021, Yer Thao pursued a Full Stack Software Engineering Certification from Prime Digital Academy, specializing in Computer Software Engineering.
