Cindy Sun-Dawes

Cindy Sun-Dawes has a significant amount of experience in business development, strategic sourcing, and international expansion. Cindy has held various leadership roles at Merrithew®, a global leader in mind-body education and equipment. Starting in 2011, they joined Merrithew® as Director of Strategic Sourcing & China Business Development, where they played a pivotal role in growing the company's fitness accessory portfolio and developing new products. Cindy then moved on to become Senior Director of International Business Development & Sourcing, where they successfully developed the company's education partnership and equipment distribution on an international scale. Later, they became Vice President of Business Development & Strategic Sourcing, responsible for bringing turnkey solutions to clients and customizing go-to-market strategies for business success. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Business Development & Global Hosting at Merrithew®, focusing on maintaining profitable mind-body studio businesses worldwide. Prior to their time at Merrithew®, Cindy founded and served as Principal Consultant for Pine Consulting International Inc., providing go-to-market strategies and global sourcing services. Cindy has also held business development and management roles at Genesis Worldwide Inc., PharmEng Technology Inc., Canadian Information Technology College, Bond Education Group, Philips Electronics, and GlaxoSmithKline.

Cindy Sun-Dawes has a diverse education history. In 1999, they attended Paris ESLSCA Business School and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. In 2010, they pursued continuing education at the University of Toronto, focusing on E-business and Web-marketing. In 1996, Cindy completed an Executive Management Training program at INSEAD, specializing in Developing Management Skills. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Sichuan International Studies University, although the start and end years for this degree are unknown.
