Patti Bernardo

Patti Bernardo has extensive work experience in the biostatistics and statistical programming field. Patti'smost recent role was as the Vice President of Biometrics at Mersana Therapeutics, which they started in September 2020. Prior to that, they held positions as Vice President of Biostatistics and Statistical Programming at resTORbio from June 2019 to September 2020, and at Seres Therapeutics from February 2018 to June 2019. Patti also served as a Senior Director of Biostatistics and Statistical Programming at Seres Therapeutics from June 2015 to February 2018. Before their time at Seres Therapeutics, Patti held positions at Cubist Pharmaceuticals as a Director of Biostatistics from November 2014 to May 2015, and as a Principal Biostatistician from April 2011 to October 2014. Patti worked as a Statistical Consultant at both Cubist Pharmaceuticals from November 2005 to April 2011 and Biogen Idec from January 2004 to October 2005. Patti also has previous experience as a Research Scientist at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute from September 1998 to November 2002 and as a Statistician at Bristol-Myers Squibb from January 1991 to September 1994.

Patti Bernardo obtained a PhD in Biostatistics from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, having studied there from 1994 to 1998. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Arts in Statistics and Operations Research from Penn State University between 1988 and 1990.
