Stephanie Sun

Stephanie Sun serves as the Director of Recruitment and Retention, English Department Coordinator, and various English language arts teacher roles at MESA Charter High School since August 2016. During a brief tenure at The National Summer School Initiative in 2023, Stephanie facilitated professional development sessions for NYC Department of Education teachers. Previous experience includes leadership positions and teaching roles at Achievement First and Harlem Village Academies, along with being a founding middle school ELA teacher through Teach For America. Stephanie holds a Master’s in Art of Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts from New York University, majoring in English Language and Literature.
