Irene Mahoney-Paige

Irene Mahoney-Paige is an experienced communications and media professional currently serving as the Communications Manager and Media Relations Strategist at Mesa Police Department since November 2018. Prior to this role, Irene held various positions including Police Media Relations Specialist and served as the Executive Director of a multi-media freelance business focused on Marketing, PR, and Social Media. Irene’s notable previous roles include Director of Digital Content and News at WestStar Multimedia Entertainment, Inc., and Director of Communications and Marketing/Creative Director at Gilbert Public Schools. Additionally, Irene has experience as a Professor at Emerson College, shaping future journalists, and held several significant roles in major media organizations including CBS Corporation, ABC 6, FOX CT TRIBUNE, NBC, and KOIN TV. Irene holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications/Broadcast Journalism from Emerson College.
