MarGerae’ Jackson

MarGerae’ Jackson has a diverse work experience in the field of mental health. MarGerae’ most recently worked as a Clinical Program Manager at Mesa Springs, where they oversaw clinical and administrative operations for a PHP/IOP program for adolescents struggling with mental health crises. Prior to that, they worked as a Life Coach at BEUprooted.

MarGerae’ also worked as a Program Therapist at Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Arlington, where they provided personalized therapeutic interventions to adolescent patients with substance abuse, psychosis, depression, and other major diagnoses. MarGerae’ utilized various therapies, such as cognitive behavior therapy and play therapy, and collaborated with a multidisciplinary team to develop effective treatment plans.

Additionally, MarGerae’ worked as a Crisis Counselor at Greenhouse Treatment Center, where they supported patients with substance abuse and mental illness through personalized counseling. MarGerae’ conducted assessments and worked closely with families to help clients in their sobriety journey.

Earlier in their career, MarGerae’ served as a Licensed Professional Counselor-Intern and Professional Counselor at Central Michigan University Health Services. MarGerae’ also gained experience as a Graduate Assistant at Central Michigan University.

MarGerae' Jackson pursued higher education by first enrolling at Saginaw Valley State University from 2013 to 2018. During this time, MarGerae' earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies. Following this accomplishment, MarGerae' decided to further enhance their knowledge and skills in the field of Mental Health Counseling/Counselor. From 2018 to 2021, MarGerae' studied at Central Michigan University, successfully completing a Master's degree program.
