David Bartram - Shaw

David Bartram-Shaw has a strong background in data science and machine learning, with experience in various leadership roles. David currently serves as the Chief AI Officer at Mesh-AI, where they are responsible for developing and delivering an AI strategy for both the company and its clients. Prior to this, they were the SVP and Global Head of Data Science & Machine Learning at Edelman Data & Intelligence (DxI), where they built and grew the global Data Science and Machine Learning group. Additionally, they set up a product group to develop software solutions for the wider communications agency. Before that, Bartram-Shaw held positions at Wunderman Thompson Data, Wunderman Data, Wunderman UK, Aimia Inc, and Betfair, where they played key roles in data science, data engineering, and marketing optimization. David has demonstrated expertise in building data science teams, developing scalable data science workbench environments, implementing cloud infrastructure cost reductions, and fostering innovation within the field.

David Bartram-Shaw completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics from the University of the West of England, attending from 2009 to 2012. Prior to this, they pursued Acting at the East15 Drama School from 2008 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, David obtained a Google Professional Data Engineer certification from Google in December 2018.
