Caleb Ezell

Caleb Ezell has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Starting in 2013, they worked as a Research Fellow and Graduate Instructor at The Lazarus Project and the University of Mississippi Department of Neuroscience. In 2014, they became an NIH Pre-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Mississippi Center of Research Excellence in Natural Products Neuroscience, where they conducted unique research on the human cannabinoid system. Caleb then joined e3 Educate, Empower, Enroll as a Program Ambassador in 2015 before transitioning to a role as a Patent Classifier at Serco in 2016, where they analyzed and summarized patent applications in the biotechnology field. In 2017, Caleb served as a Technical Editor at Cactus Communications, specializing in Molecular Biology. Caleb then moved on to roles at Claris Healthcare Inc as a Project Manager and Director of Business Development. In 2019, they became an Equity Research Associate at Stephens, where they stayed until 2021. Caleb then worked at Jefferies as a Senior Equity Research Associate and later as an Equity Research Analyst. Currently, Caleb is a Senior Vice President at Mesirow, a position they began in June 2022. Throughout their career, Caleb has demonstrated a strong research background and a passion for biotechnology and emerging technologies.

Caleb Ezell completed their Bachelor's Dual Degree in Biochemistry, Philosophy, and Neuroscience from the University of Mississippi. Caleb also studied abroad at Macquarie University in 2012. Caleb then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2024 to 2026. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including Series 7, Series 66, Series 86, and Series 87 from FINRA in 2019.
