Fevzi Demircioglu has had a diverse work experience in the field of research. Fevzi started their career as a Researcher at the UCL Cancer Institute in 2010. In 2011, they joined the DKFZ German Cancer Research Center as a Researcher. After that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Queen Mary University of London, CRUK Barts Cancer Center, under the supervision of K. Hodivala-Dilke. In 2018, they joined the University of Pennsylvania as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, working with Andy Minn. In the same year, they also started working at the Université libre de Bruxelles as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow under the supervision of Cedric Blanpain. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Scientist II at Mestag Therapeutics since 2021.
Fevzi Demircioglu pursued their education in various fields at different institutions. Fevzi completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Oncology and Cancer Biology from Queen Mary University of London, Barts Cancer Institute, from 2013 to 2018. Prior to that, from 2010 to 2011, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Radiation Biology/Radiobiology from the University of Oxford. Fevzi began their educational journey by acquiring a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Istanbul University, during the period of 1999 to 2005.
