Jennifer Galbraith

Jennifer Galbraith is a Research and Development Scientist currently working at Mestag Therapeutics. Prior to this, they worked as a Scientist I at Horizon Discovery from 2019 to 2021, where they were involved in functional genomic screening, compound analysis, assay design and target validation. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Placement Student at the Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute, where they studied the role and interactions of wild type p53 in two models of small cell lung cancer. During this time, they gained experience in cell culture, western blotting, co-immunoprecipitation, CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing, mutagenesis, immunohistochemistry and luciferase cell-based assays.

Jennifer Galbraith attended the University of Bath from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry with Professional Placement.
