Victor Buchman

Victor Buchman has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Victor began their career as a Sales Intern at Hewlett-Packard in 2001. Victor then worked as an Associate at Ernst & Young from 2003 to 2005.

In 2005, Buchman joined BP as an LPG Operator, where they managed physical cargoes, negotiated with counterparties, and controlled stock levels.

From 2009 to 2017, they worked at Gazprom Marketing & Trading, starting as a Commercial Negotiator and eventually becoming a Member of the Board of Directors. During their time there, they led business development activities, coordinated global business operations, and was responsible for planning and budgeting.

Since 2017, Buchman has been with MET Group, initially as the Group Chief Operating Officer and later as the Group Chief Commercial Officer. Victor was responsible for leading cross-commodity activities, setting and driving the commercial strategy, and developing strategic relationships. Currently, they hold the role of Group Head of Business Incubator Platform at MET Group.

Throughout their career, Buchman has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage complex business operations.

Victor Buchman attended Madras College from 1993 to 1998. However, there is no information available regarding the degree or field of study pursued during this period. Victor then went on to study at the University of Bath from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics & Politics.
