Tomer Shalev has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple companies and roles. Tomer started their career in 2001 at Lumenis as a Software Developer, where they designed and implemented clinical data configuration software. Tomer then moved to Wavion Networks in 2003 as a Software Developer, where they worked on system tools and conducted tests on wireless network products. In 2004, they joined Philips Medical Systems as a Software Developer, and later joined Jungo Ltd, part of Cisco, in 2006. At Jungo, they held various roles including Software Developer, Software Support Engineer, and Software Engineer, working on USB stack product development and client-specific OpenRG features.

In 2009, Tomer joined Intel as a Software Engineer, working in the tools team and implementing a 64-bit BIOS loader for a proprietary Virtual Machine Manager. Tomer then moved to Qualcomm in 2013 as a Senior Software Engineer in the Virtual Platforms team, where they built virtual prototypes of Qualcomm's SnapDragon SOCs chips.

Tomer Shalev completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in 2009. Prior to that, they attended IASA - Israeli Arts and Science Academy from 1993 to 1996, although the specific degree and field of study are not provided.
