Micaela Franchini has a diverse work experience. From October 2019 to the present, they have been working as a Supplier Quality Engineer at Meta System SpA. Prior to that, from March 2019 to September 2019, they completed an internship at the same company. In 2018, Micaela worked at Comer Industries as part of a scholarship program, focusing on improving internal activities through the application of World Class Manufacturing principles. Micaela also had a brief role in Lean Organization at Comer Industries from March 2018 to May 2018. In 2017, they participated in a team project as part of their university course at Fondazione Golinelli, where they redesigned organizational processes using Design Thinking. In 2015, Micaela completed an internship with LCA Working Group, collaborating on a research project related to environmental sustainability. The following year, they presented their thesis at a technical seminar on Environmental Sustainability Management. Prior to their academic endeavors, Micaela had an office role at Agrimodena Franchini Srl, where they assisted with sales, website maintenance, and participated in local and international fairs. In 2009, they also worked as a summer intern at Tetra Pak, providing support to the Aseptic Technologies department.
Micaela Franchini pursued their higher education from 2017 to 2019 at Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia. During this period, they completed their Laurea Magistrale (LM) degree in Ingegneria gestionale/Gestione industriale.
In addition to their academic degree, Micaela Franchini obtained the Lean Six Sigma-Green Belt certification from Crossnova Academy in July 2023.
