Collin S.

Collin S. is an experienced research engineer currently working at Meta since August 2022, focusing on neural interface research for next-generation input technologies. Prior to this role, Collin served as a course assistant for CS 210 at Stanford University, assisting student groups in developing capstone projects in collaboration with corporate partners, with a focus on VR and crypto. Collin has also contributed to various research projects, including developing probabilistic models in the Linderman Lab and machine learning models for computational pathology at PathAI, where work was accepted for a presentation at the American Association for Cancer Research. Previous experiences include a data science internship at Recursion, machine learning research at Stanford's Valiant Lab, and computational biology research at Stanford's Rohatgi Lab, along with internships at the National Institute of Standards and Technology and UI Health. Collin holds a Master's degree in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (Biocomputation) from Stanford University.
