Griffin Schmitt

Griffin Schmitt is a mechanical engineer with a Bachelor's Degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology, earned in 2016. Professional experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology, focusing on vibration isolation mount design; a Shell Tutor, supporting undergraduate students in statics and dynamics; and an Engineering Intern at Amsted RPS, where CAD work was performed. As an Engineering Co-op at ATA Engineering, Griffin collaborated with teams in the aerospace and entertainment industries and conducted various analyses using Nastran and MATLAB. Extensive experience at Apple includes leading design initiatives for the iPhone, with responsibilities ranging from conceptual design to overseeing mass production. Currently, Griffin serves as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Sherpa Design and an Opto-mechanical Engineer at Meta. Additional experience includes lifeguarding for the City of Gladstone, where Griffin was promoted to Head Guard.
