Cynthia Balusek is the Vice President of Success Engineering at Metabase. Cynthia has over 25 years of experience in software engineering and global customer support.

Cynthia started their career as a software engineer and quickly rose through the ranks to become a senior director at Civitas Learning. In this role, they led a team of software engineers and project managers to deliver software solutions to clients. Cynthia also created the first services and support headcount model and budget to allow for growth and scale.

In 2017, Cynthia became the Vice President of Global Customer Support at Revionics. In this role, they were responsible for post-sales services, education, and support. Cynthia led a global team of customer support representatives using agile methodologies to achieve results. Cynthia also conducted the first NPS (Net Promoter Score) and customer satisfaction survey, creating an action plan to address areas of improvement.

In 2020, Cynthia joined Metabase as the Vice President of Success Engineering. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the success of Metabase customers. Cynthia also participates in presales activities to help sell the Metabase solution and services to major accounts.

Cynthia Balusek has a master's degree in business administration from Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business, a BA in politics from Randolph College, and a certification in project management from the Project Management Institute. Cynthia also has a certification in Disciplined Agile Scrum Master from the Project Management Institute.

Cynthia Balusek reports to Sameer Al-Sakran, CEO. They are on a team with Ariya Hidayat - Chief Architect, Reza Lotun - VP, Engineering, and Bruno Bergher - VP, Product & Growth.
