Ermanno Florio, PhD has a diverse work experience, beginning with a Research Fellowship at CNR IEOS in 2013. From 2014 to 2017, they were a PHD student at the University of Naples Federico II, where they developed a new method to analyze DNA mediation profiles and studied the microbiome in Autistic patients. In 2016, they were a Visiting PHD Student at the University of California, San Diego. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of California San Diego, and from 2019 to 2022, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California Irvine, studying the molecular mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases and the role of microglia in Schizophrenia. Currently, they are a Senior Scientist in Assay Development at Metabiomics.
Ermanno Florio, PhD obtained a Bachelor's degree from the University of Naples Federico II, followed by a Master's degree in Biotechnology from the same institution in 2013.
